Buddy Watkins pony has a trophy for juvenile Miniature Halter 3rd place at the Upper West Fork Riding Club.
He and I picked blueberries in Nettie at Heathers' home. Never seen anything like it. We both picked for three hours. Seventeen bushes, loaded. What a wonderful thing. Ben's grandfather planted them probably fifty years ago. I'm going to try to get starts from them.
I'm thankful for Heather and the girls taking me to Cincinnati to get my eyes checked. Am going to need surgery sometime. I'm looking forward to seeing like a child for awhile. It was a nice trip and the babies travel well. Heather and Ruby swam in the pool and I held Lea.
I attended the Upper West Fork Bluegrass Festival with Buddy Watkins. We danced, the music was great. We then went back on Saturday evening with Tyler and I danced a whole lot, my knee isn't right yet. It's the only time I dance and it is so much fun and I always enjoy seeing everyone there.
In the past I would attend this celebration with Uncle Shirley and I truly miss him. He and I loved visiting with the Siers girls at this event. Mavis, Annalee, and Penny were there and it was good to see them.
My rooster seems to be doing fine without a mate. Guess something got her while she was setting. I call him in the mornings and when he crows I know he's out there to feed.
Everyone have a wonderful week!
