Dr. Catherine E. Grant is returning to Minnie Hamilton Health System.
Dr. Grant began her medical career as a Registered Nurse.
In 1986, she received her Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. She practiced at Minnie Hamilton from 1987 to 1990.
In 1992, Dr. Grant received her certification by the American Board of Family Practice, later adding a certification in Geriatric Medicine. In 1992, Dr. Grant joined a private practice in Weston, WV with privileges at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. She has served as the attending physician at Crestview and SunBridge Nursing homes.
Dr. Grant is the widow of the late Tolley Fitzwater. She enjoys travel, a new sport for her, kayaking, her cats and family.
Minnie Hamilton Health System is pleased to announce the addition of a new doctor to the Emergency Room staff.
Dr. John Harrah began his career at Marshall University where he received his medical degree. He completed an Emergency Room residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine in 2004 and is Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
In 2008, he completed an Undersea Hyperbolic Fellowship at Duke University.
Dr. Harrah is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and exercising.
