Murl Gunn Siers, 83, of Mt. Zion, West Virginia, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Minnie
Hamilton Health System, Grantsville.
She was born December 29, 1924 at Mt. Zion, a daughter of the late Eddie
and Delia Wilmoth Gunn.
She was a 1941 graduate of Calhoun High School and was a member of the
Millstone Church of Christ. After living in Ohio for 39 years she returned to
Mt. Zion in 1989.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Olen Siers; one son, Richard
Siers of Macedonia, Ohio; 3 daughters, Mary Ann Gredesky of Kent, Ohio, Barbara
(Daniel) Zang of Northville, MI and Connie (Donald) Gray of Finksburg, MD;
six grandchildren, David Gredesky, Kimberly Siers, Creston Zang, Garrick Zang,
Jed Gray and Seth Gray.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dewitt Gunn and one son, David
Olen Siers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2008 at Stump
Funeral Home, Grantsville. Vernon Kerns will officiate. Interment will be in
Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday
evening from 6-8 p.m.
