Tyler has been spending time here on the West Fork with me and we've had a good visit. He has done weed eating for me and we fixed the silverware drawer. It was our little work shop and the drawer works great.
Jim Tanner was nice enough to drive us all to Strange Creek and the water was fine.
Heather, Ben and the girls picked him up on Sunday afternoon in order to take Tyler on a road trip with Ben for a week. They will be traveling in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana by Wednesday. I'm happy that he will get to see new country and experience what it's like to be in the trucking business.
My grand-daughter Courtney Bosewell spent a week with Heather, Ruby and Lea. Courtney said they went swimming in a pool. This may have been her first time since children in this area swim in the rivers, creeks, and lakes. I myself prefer rivers and lakes. She and Ruby both got a cute haircut in Fayetteville. Courtney went for a ride in Ben's truck and she had the biggest smile when she was telling me about it.
Charles Haverty stopped by to see the Ruckman family and brought cherry suckers for Ruby and Lea. It was a sight to see Charles giving Lea her sucker. She loves them.
Heather, her father, Robert and the girls visited with me after their appointment with Dr. Rick Magley at his new office at Nebo. Robert and Heather both appreciate the benefits of their visits with this doctor as do I. Robert watched Quigley Down Under, and ordered pizza from Liza's.
Jerry Jones and his son Jerry mowed the lawn. His wife Betty and the four children came by while Ruby was here and they had a good time. The garden looks great. All the corn and beans are up and running. The pigs are pigs. Jerry and Dick Jarvis put rings in their noses. Jerry wrestled one and injured his hand by a nail in the hog house. Had to go the doctor and get shots and antibiotics. He's working and doing fine.
I called Aunt Juanita and she's doing well. She had the air conditioner on. She told me that she was saved at the Walnut Church 1943. She enjoyed seeing the pictures of the church in the Chronicle. Juanita was married to my Uncle Sherwood for 63 years.
Dolan Siers, Uncle Shirley's son visited with her and we are thankful for Larry Cottrell checking on her and helping with any problems she may have. She also told me that she will be buried between Uncle Sherwood and Uncle Shirley. What a safe place. She said she could throw little stones on them. I love her and we always laugh and have a good visit on the phone.
Everyone have a nice week!
