Calhoun County Youth Fest Committee would like to thank the following churches, organizations, business and individuals for their assistances and financial contributions toward Family Fun Day 2008.
Word of Faith Church; Calhoun UM Parish; Knotts Memorial UM Church; Rush Run Baptist Church; Minnora UM Church; Beech UM Church; Brooksville UM Church; First Baptist Church; Louisa Chapel UM Church; Sand Ridge UM Church; Enon Baptist Church; Pleasant Hill UM Church; Hoy Chapel UM Church; Mt Zion UM Church.
Also, Prince of Peace Catholic Church; Strong Tower Community Church; Cornerstone Praise and Worship Church; Wood Festival Committee; Keen Acres Farms; Sam's Club; Dominion; Donna and Neil Richards; Grantsville Fire Department; Calhoun Chronicle; The Hur Herald; Middle School Boosters and many individuals who financially contributed but wish to remain nameless.
Family Fun Day 2008 was held Saturday, July 19 and was enjoyed by approximately 110 children who brought along (sometimes dragged) their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. A great time was had by all who attended and participated.
