When the 821st Engineer Company activated last July to Iraq, Robby Parsons was among 12 other Calhoun men deployed with the unit.
The Company returned to West Virginia soil Sunday, landing at the WV
Air National Guard Hangar in Charleston.
SPC Parsons' family and friends were there to greet their soldier and held a reception for him later in the evening. Parsons' children, Garrett, Chase and Summer were especially happy to have daddy home.
