| A Ritchie County man was seriously injured just after 8:30 Thursday evening when a gas well exploded near Pullman, Ritchie County.
According to the Ritchie County Sheriff's Department the 28-year-old well-tender drove himself to a grocery store in Pullman after the explosion to summon help.
The victim is reportedly Russell "Rusty" Jones, formerly of Big Springs, WV.
Officials say he has 3rd degree burns over most of his body. He was life-flighted from Pullman to West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh last night.
