There will be a reorganization of the local school board Monday evening with the election of officers and other assignments.
To be elected, president and vice president, and appointments to
to the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center Administrative Council,
RESA V Advisory Council, and the
WVU Extension Service Committee.
A special meeting was held June 23 to evaluate superintendent Jane Lynch, with the board going into executive session. The board used
the West Virginia Board of Education's adopted Policy 5309 for evaluation.
The three areas used to evaluate are, exceeds standards, meets standards, and does not meet standards.
The board found that the Superintendent received marks in the areas of meets standards and does not meet standards, according to a release from the office.
Monday's meeting will include the adoption of textbooks.
On the agenda is a Service Personnel Staff Development Plan and a proposal to increase the annual supplement from $100 to $600 for all school employees.
