| Robert D. (Bob) Smith, Sr., 71, of Cremo Community, Calhoun County, West Virginia passed away at his home July 1, 2008 following a short illness.
He was born November 19, 1936 in Calhoun County, a son of the late Conda C. and Goldie G. Husk Smith.
Surviving are sons, Ernest (Lori) of East Lake, Ohio, Robert Jr. (Kathy) of Lakewood, Ohio; a daughter, Vickey (Michael) Butera of North Olmstead, Ohio; 2 brothers, Floyd (Gloria) of Elyria, Ohio and Jerry (Linda) of Mineral Wells, WV; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and dear friend, Ben Cunningham.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ellen Duskey Smith, and a brother, Clyde E. Smith.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church at Hur. Rev. Bob Duskey will officiate. Interment will be in the Hur Cemetery.
Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
