The West Virginia Republican Party Convention is scheduled for today in Flatwoods.
Gaylen Duskey and Donna Steigleder will be Calhoun's two voting delegates.
Duskey said "We're working hard to give new energy to the Republican Party in Calhoun.
State GOP Chairman Doctor Doug McKinney says those at the convention will choose 27 alternate delegates to the Republican National Convention later this summer.
The state GOP chose its at-large delegates at its Super Tuesday presidential meeting back in February and a total of nine delegates during the May Primary Election.
Those at Saturday's convention will also vote on the state Republican Party Platform.
Chairman McKinney says party members say there will be discussion about a marriage amendment related to gays.
The convention will also produce the five state Republicans who will serve as members of the Electoral College and will cast their ballots for Arizona Senator John McCain if he wins West Virginia in November.
