The 59th annual West Virginia Folk Festival is open to the public at Glenville this week, recognizing folk music and Appalachian culture.
The festival will feature jam sessions, arts and crafts, banjo and fiddle contest, antique car show, square dancing, spelling bee, quilt show, a grand parade and many other events.
There are no admission fees.
The festival lasts through Sunday.
