 Howard Alexander, Jr., 62, formerly of Mineral Wells, West Virginia died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. He was born in Chloe, WV a son of the late Howard Lee Alexander, Sr. and Edith (Smith) Alexander.
He worked for UPS and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #169.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn J. Alexander; two daughters Reyna Alexander of Lakeland, FL and Pamela Somerville and her husband Terry of Palestine, WV; and four sisters Mary Hull of Crossville, TN, Violet Griffin of Kent, OH, Ruby Callow of Reedy, WV, and Judy Hanlon of Worthington Harbor, FL.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens with military honors by American Legion Post 15 and masonic service by Mt. Olivet Lodge #169.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
