There will be several programs available for students this summer.
Beginning June 16th there will be a week-long arts/technology camp in the morning followed by the summer program in the afternoon.
Also beginning on June 16th will be the morning reading program for preschool and kindergarten students who can also stay for the summer afternoon program.
The next week, June 23rd, will begin the summer program in coordination with Energy Express with Energy Express offered in the morning with the students continuing in the afternoon with the Heads Up program.
The Storyteller Program for preschool students will be offered for six Monday mornings beginning on June 23rd.
Credit recovery will be offered all summer for Middle and High School students beginning on June 16th.
If students are staying all day they can ride the buses to and from school with the bus schedules the same as last summer.
All students will receive free breakfast and lunch through the summer food program.
The summer programs are a collaboration between Calhoun County Schools, Heads Up, the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, Reading First Grant, West Virginia University Extension Service, Energy Express and Heartwood in the Hills.
