| James L. Mace, 57, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away June 8, 2008 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, following a brief illness.
Mr. Mace was born in Arnoldsburg, WV, a son of the late Oral and Ernestine Hoskins Mace. He was a truck driver for Pete Gould & Sons of Murraysville, WV. He was a member of Minnora Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Mace of Chloe; daughter, Jordan Mace of Chloe; sons, Wade (Kim) Mace of Glenville, WV, and Justin (Cyrena) Mace of Parkersburg, WV; brothers, Ken (Barb) Mace of Chloe, Harley (Pam) Mace of Heaters, WV, Jeff (Shelley) Mace of Millstone, WV; sisters, Kathy Stevens of Kenna, WV, Lillie (Roger) O'Brien of Walton, WV, Lou (Mike) Johnson of Grantsville, WV, Debbie Mace of Arnoldsburg; Becky (Bill) Stagg of Spencer, WV, and June (Charles) Sampson of Stumptown, WV; 2 grandchildren, Lainee and Hallie Mace of Glenville, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Sampson, and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Tim Hickman, Jerry Malona and Robert Bailey will officiate. Interment will be in Minnora Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
