| Phyllis June Reed Whipkey, 68, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away June 2, 2008 at her home.
Ms. Whipkey was born April 15, 1940 in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Pearl Shimer Reed. She was an abstracter in the oil and gas industry and was a former Calhoun County Clerk.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Godfrey of Grantsville and Deanna Wright of Mt. Zion, WV; 2 brothers, Tim Reed of Cutler, Ohio and David Reed of Grantsville; a sister, Euna Reed of Five Forks, WV; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
