Icy Arnold Chenoweth, 88, of Lower Nicut Community, Orma, died Nov. 13,
2001, in Spencer.
She was a native of Calhoun County and was the widow of the late John Chenoweth. She was
a life long member of the Fairview Church at lower Nicut and sang with many gospel groups
throughout the area for many years. She was a retired employee of Spencer State Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonita Hathaway of Union Grove, Alabama and Pauline Estes of
Durham, North Carolina, one sister, Golda Lawrence of Zanesville, Ohio. 6 grandchildren and
14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Church of Lower Nicut.
Lowell Weekley will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends
may call from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg, and
one hour prior services Saturday at the church.
