| Emory Cottrill, 91, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away May 27, 2008 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville.
He was born in Gilmer County, a son of the late Jack and Lona Bell Dobbins Cottrill. He was a pipeline construction worker and timberman. He was a US Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Offutt Cottrill and one son Darrell.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Larry Jones will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Grantsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
