An unprecedented faculty-wide meeting is set for today at WVU regarding a no confidence vote for president Mike Garrison.
"Even the historians, and we have some really great historians at WVU, can't seem to find any precedent for this meeting," says Faculty Senate Member Judy Sedgeman.
The meeting came after WVU's Faculty Senate gave University President Mike Garrison a vote of no confidence and called for his resignation.
At the center of the storm - the awarding of an MBA to Mylan Executive Heather Bresch.
It will take 909 faculty members to constitute a quorum.
"We have no idea who's coming or how many people are coming. We're going to be prepared to have a very large number of people," Sedgeman said.
It's unclear about the weight of the group's action, with president Garrison "staying the course."
The meeting starts at 1:30 at WVU's Creative Arts Center.
