| Roscoe Boggs, 82, of Big Otter, West Virginia, passed away April 29, 2008 at Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Big Otter.
Born in Clay County, he was a son of the late Earle and Eliza Smith Boggs.
He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. During the Korean Conflict he was stationed on the USS Repose.
He was a retired Clay County school teacher and was a member of the Clay County Masonic Lodge #97 for over 50 years.
Surviving are his children, Jane, Brent, and Chris Boggs.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Hendee.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1 at the Boggs Cemetery at Big Otter with Masonic Graveside Rites by Clay County Masonic Lodge #97.
