CHARLESTON TEEN SHOT SIX TIMES IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING - Charleston Police say Alphonson Lawayne Harper, II shot Trey Burkes, 17, about six times from his vehicle.
The drive-by shooting happened Sunday evening on Charleston's east side.
Trey was shot once in the right forearm, three times in the right torso, once in the right shoulder, and once in the left hip.
One of the bullets also grazed a 17-year-old female on the right side of her head and neck.
Police say the victims are expected to survive.
Burkes was walking near the 1300 block of Milton Street near the University of Charleston Stadium at Laidley Field.
Police say a charcoal colored sedan pulled alongside Burkes and someone inside pointed a gun out the window and opened fire.
A shotgun and some type of handgun might have been used in the shooting.
HUNTINGTON GUNSHOT VICTIM - Police got called out to a shooting on the east end of Huntington Saturday.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Washington Boulevard, a man said his fiancé had been accidentally shot in the stomach. Emergency crews arrived at the house and took the woman to the hospital.
