West Virginia has set another record for gasoline prices.
AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge report said the average for a
gallon of regular hit $3.55 on Friday, but in several parts of the state the price was approaching $3.70.
This is the second week in a row the Mountain State has had
record gas prices.
West Virginia's current average is much higher than any
surrounding state.
Market sources are saying the price will go to $4 a gallon, which means $100 for a fill-up for many customers.
While government statistics are saying food prices are rising about 5%, price checking at area supermarkets indicate many items have increased 20-30%.
