Adventure Pursuit (Parkersburg, WV)

Asthma Health Care and Education Services (United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, WV)
Educational programs for children and their families to learn about the most chronic condition among children in the U.S. Asthma Health Care and Education Services is an on-going program with classes and individual instruction. Bridgeport Little League Challenger Division (Bridgeport, WV)

Camp Catch Your Breath (Jackson's Mill, WV)
A statewide camp for children ages 8-13 that offers opportunity for those who, as a result of their asthma, would not otherwise be able to participate in a camp experience. CCYB is a week long overnight camp. For more information, call 304-624-2255 or visit asthmacamp.uhcwv.org

Camp Choosy (Morgantown, WV)
Offers week long camps at the WVU Coliseum that focus on physical activity. Camps are a part of the WVU Physical Education Department, Motor Development Division. For more information, call 304-293-3295 ext. 5252.

Camp Echo (Ripley, WV)
This is a five night camp for individuals 15 and older with severe disabilities. For more information, call 304-422-7243.

Camp Gizmo (WV School for the Deaf and Blind, Romney, WV)
For children birth to eight who use assistive technology devices and their families. Teams help children actively participate in all activities and find out which forms of assistive technology work for the child. For more information, call 304-558-2696.

Camp Happy Face (Spencer, WV)
The Cerebral Palsy Parents Council Summer Camp is held at the Spring Heights Education Center in Spencer. Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, treasure hunts, movies, a hay ride, etc. For more information, call 304-927-5865.

Camp Kno-Koma (Camp Virgil Tate, Charleston, WV)
For children ages 7-15 with diabetes that may not be able to participate in other camps. Camper Scholarship applications are available. Qualification is determined by financial need. Camp WINACA (WInning Against CAncer) (Camp Golden Horseshoe, Tucker County, WV)

Celebrate Independence (Wheeling, WV)
A camp for children ages 12 to 17 years who are visually impaired. The camp focuses on life skills that promotes independence. Activities include computing and an outdoor nature workshop. Children's Vision Rehabilitation Project Summer Institute (Statewide)
The Summer Institute provides direct instruction on specific skills like braille, independent living, assistive technology, orientation and mobility and self-help. The institute addresses specific skills the children do not get during the school year. Additionally, Summer Institute provides an opportunity for students, parents and teachers from different counties to network and establish support systems. International Sports Jamboree (Cairo, WV)

Lean for Life Kids (United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, WV)
A weight loss program for children ages 7-17 to help reduce the risk of preventable diseases through lifestyle change. Family members and caregivers are strongly urged to attend. This program is a PEIA benefit, all other individuals interested, please call first. Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Camp will be held June 10-August on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to noon. Children participate in a variety of activities including games, relays, team sports, hand-on activities and more. Miracle League Baseball (Mylan Park, Morgantown, WV)

Mountain Milestones & Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp (Stepping Stones, Morgantown, WV)
Camp is six weeks long and serves children ages 6-18. Activities include swimming, bowling, golfing, kayaking, outdoor recreation and arts and crafts for children of all abilities. For more information, call 304-983-7837.

Mountaineer Spina Bifida Camp (Ripley, WV)
For children ages 8-18. Swimming, socialization skills, sports and all kinds of fun activities are offered to campers. For more information, call 304-588-7098.

Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp (Ripley, WV)
Held at Cedar Lakes for children and youth ages 6-21. The child must be diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease and be registered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. June 15-20, 2008. Each camper has their own counselor, who stays with them during the week and helps them during camp activities, including scavenger hunts, fishing, swimming and boating. A prom is also scheduled.
