The body of John Edward "John John" Starcher 25, of Daniels Run has been returned to Calhoun for burial.
Starcher's body was discovered last September on a small island in the West Fork River near the Stoney Point Church. He had been missing from his residence since August 25th.
The remains had been sent to the Smithsonian Institute for further determination related to cause of death.
Authorities have said it appears that Starcher died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg with the Rev. Robert Shannon officiating.
Interment will be in the Starcher Cemetery at Arnoldsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
