| Jerry Clinton "Jack" Parsons, Jr., 42, of Spencer, was found dead in his apartment, Wednesday, April 9, 2008.
He was born May 3, 1965, at Charleston, a son of the late Dottie Lou Hively Parsons and Jerry C. Parsons, Sr. of Walton.
Jerry had worked as a laborer.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Wanda Parsons of Walton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Darrell Rucker of Mt. Holly, NC, Phyllis and Bud Taylor of Walton, Vicki and David Nunn also of Mt. Holly, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Melinda Parsons of Walton; maternal grandmother, Sybil Parsons of Gandeeville; nieces, Lois Taylor, Miranda Rucker Smith, Melissa Taylor, Cassie Nunn, Hilliary Parsons, Jennifer Parsons and Ashley Parsons; nephews, Jeffrey Parsons, II and Joshua Nunn; great niece, Kaitlyn Taylor; several aunts and uncles.
A gathering of family and friends, for remembering "Jack" will be held Tuesday, April 15 from 5-8 p.m. in the Walton Union Church, Walton. A private burial in the Billy Hunt Cemetery, Kettle Road, Walton, will take place at a later date.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
