Frank Stacy Coen, 68 of Ivydale, Clay County, WV, died Sunday morning, November 4 at his
home following a long illness.
Born in Clay County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Ida Sharp Coen. He was a self
employed carpenter and mechanic and was gifted in making many string instruments.
Surviving are daughters, Norma Westfall of Maysle, WV, Paula Metheney, Deanna Hall, Reva
Coen and Phyllis Tanner all of Ivydale, Penny Coen of Chloe, WV, Debbie Davis of Shock, WV
Stacy Murphy, Melissa Drake and Shonda Tanner all of Clay, WV and Jerri Drake of Duck, WV
and a sister, Elsie Behn of North Ridgeville, Ohio, eight grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Otter Lick Church at Ivydale. Reverend
Darrell Mollohan will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery, Nebo, WV. Friends may
call at the church one hour prior to services. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of
arrangements.
