GUNMAN SHOOTS WORKER, SELF - A gunman wounded a worker and then committed suicide at a Marsh Bellofram Plant in Newell, WV, in the state's Northern Panhandle.
Hancock County Sheriff Mike White said he believes the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute concerning the man's estranged girlfriend.
White says the man, who was in his 40s, was targeting a specific person.
The sheriff says the man entered the plant Monday afternoon and was asked to leave after speaking to some supervisory personnel.
He then pulled out a handgun as several employees escorted him out of the building and shot one worker several times in the shoulder.
He turned the gun on himself as some other workers attempted to subdue him.
Neither the victim or the gunman have been identified.
