Record number of kids lunged from the starting
line to cash-in on thousands of prize eggs
Likely the largest group of egg hunters ever, came out Saturday for the Melissa Oshoway Memorial Easter Egg Hunt at Wayne Underwood Field.
The event is sponsored each year by John and Sue Oshoway who purchase the gifts and eggs. Two thousand eggs, 1,000 each for the younger and older children.

There was a surprise visit from Easter Bunny
This was the 14th annual Easter egg hunt for children ages up to 12, now named in memory of Oshoway's daughter who was tragically killed in an auto accident.
Oshoway said "This beautiful sunshine brought them out."
There's a gift in every egg. A slip of paper in each egg indicates the prize the child won, including money, toys, stuffed animals and four bicycles.
