| Cleo Thelma Metheney, 87, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away March 19, 2008 at Miletree Health Center, Spencer.
Born March 22, 1920 in Nicholas County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Francis Gibson Keffer.
Surviving are her children, Don Metheney, George Metheney, Darrell Metheney and his wife Patty, Creston Metheney and his wife Linda, James Lee Metheney and his wife Corine, Wanedith Greathouse, Phyllis Anderson and her husband Wendell, Carol Arnold and her husband Danny; two sisters, Merial Parsons and Maggie Clutch; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Metheney; 1 daughter, Garnet Sue Biship; 2 infant sons, Billy Gene and Sylvie Alphie; 1 grandson, 3 great grandsons, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Metheney Cemetery at Nebo.
