| Louise "Granny" Beall, 93, of Normantown, departed this life at 11:15 p.m., March 15, 2008, at her residence.
She was born in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Ira and Myrtle Sumpter Whitesell.
Mrs. Bell was a much loved mother and homemaker and was referred by all that knew her as "Granny." She was a member of the Upper Steer Run Baptist Church at Normantown.
She is survived by three sons, Wendel and wife, Rose Beall, of Cedarville, W.Va., David and wife, Ruthie Beall, of LaGrange, Ohio, and Doyl Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Parkersburg; two daughters, Zeta and husband, Glen Mohr, of Wellington, Ohio, and Evonne and husband, Shirrel Mohr, of Normantown; daughter-in-law, Sandra (Jackie) Beall of Perkins, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Doyl, who she married May 4, 1945, and preceded her in death March 2, 1981; a son, Jackie; two brothers; two sisters; and two great-great-granddaughters. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Normantown. |
