| Elbert Ray King, 89, of Akron, Ohio, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Monongahela General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born October 17, 1918 in Roane County, WV, a son of the late Clark and Ella Mae Houchin King. He was retired from Goodyear with 34 years service.
He is survived by one sister, Anna Marie Hess of Morgantown; and a special friend, Mary Smith of Akron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jenny Irene King, his second wife, Lucille Sherrill King; one sister, Elva Cave; and three brothers, Denver, Dennis, and Lovell King.
Service 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV. Burial will be in the Houchin Cemetery on Beech Road, Calhoun County, WV.
Visiting hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. |
