Members of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church presented "A Picture of Calvary" Saturday evening, bringing to life the events surrounding the crucification of Christ.
The cast of fifteen characters appeared before the congregation with a miniature passion play with music and lighting, including performers, Bobby Swisher, Judas; Lou Norman, wife of Pilate; Dale Cunningham, Caiaphas; Edna Robinson, Mary Magdalene; Patrick Summers, Nicodemus; Jim McCormick, Thomas; Michael Radabaugh, Peter; Grace Richards and Carissa Yoak, mother and child; Mary of Bethany, Marcia Swisher; Drew Metheney, the Apostle John; Dorothy McCauley, Mary, mother of Christ; Shannon Anderson, Paul; and Jim Sullivan, the centurion.
Rev. Richard Metheney was the narrator.
The play will be repeated at 10:45 a.m. Easter Sunday morning.
The church is also having Sunrise Services at 6 a.m. with breakfast to follow.
