There is nothing more precious to a grandparent than to surprise their grandchild with that one "over-the-top present" they will remember for a lifetime.
For Mike and Molly Yoak, mission accomplished.
After the 2007 Relay for Life, Molly went to a whole new level
when she won the bid on a Goodyear blimp ride for grandson Hunter Yoak.
On Sunday, February 24, 8-year old Hunter and his dad Rick, soared above Akron, Ohio for 60 minutes enjoying the sights.
Hunter even got to take his turn at being captain of the blimp when Captain Greg Poppenhouse handed over the wheel.
Molly and Mike watched the trip from the ground.
"The look on his face when he got off that blimp was worth every penny," Molly said.
"It's going to be difficult to top this gift."
A special thank you goes to Darlene Roberts and her daughter for securing the blimp ride donation from Goodyear.
