The Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department answered the first brush fire call of the season Monday at 11:25 at Millstone.
Fire burned about three acres near a mobile home, burning natural gas lines stretched through the woods.
Yesterday's temperatures in the 70s helped fuel the fire hazard. The Spring fire season started this past Saturday.
Spencer firemen also fought a brush fire yesterday near town which was threatening buildings.
