RAILROAD WORKER SUES OVER GOOSE ATTACK

A CSX Transportation conductor is suing the railroad for $75,000, claiming a goose attacked him on the job.

Aaron E. Richards claims he was performing a brake test on a train in the Keyser Receiving Yard.

"As Plaintiff performed the required inspection, a goose which was previously known by Defendant to have nested in its yard area, suddenly jumped out from under one of the railcars, striking Plaintiff, and causing him to fall resulting in injuries and damages," according to the lawsuit.

"As a result of the negligence of Defendant, Plaintiff has suffered pain in the past and will suffer pain in the future; has incurred expenses for medical treatment..." says the suit.

Richards seeks a judgment, plus interest, and demands a jury trial.
