A band of snow will spread the area early Thursday evening as a warm front approaches from the south with less than an inch of accumulation.

A transition to freezing rain will occur tonight with ice of around a tenth of an inch expected.

The temperature will rise above freezing after sunrise turning any freezing rain over to rain. As a result, driving conditions will improve by midday.
