The Lady Pioneers game wasn't decided until the final 23-seconds. Glenville secured the win by a single point 59-58.

The men's game came down to the wire as well. In that contest with 1:30 left to play the Pioneers held a slim one-point lead, ending with an 84-80 victory.

Concord shut down the Lady Pioneers usual game advantages. Normally high-scoring ace from the outside, Mallory Menendez, was held to a single three-pointer for the night. Karina Kendrick's game was off and she was knocked out of double-figures scoring for the second game in a row.

Donita Adams led the Lady Pioneers to
victory in a tough win. She had 18-points.

The men's game was a nail-biter as well.

called a "jump ball." Boyd had 12 points on the night.

On the final possession when it was clear the Pioneers would leave the floor victorious Marcus Catney tossed the ball straight up in the air in celebration.

Tryvan Leech led Glenville's scoring attack with 32, Anthony Kimble added 17, Allen Boyd netted 12 and Catney joined the others in double-figure territory with 11.

Concord's Cordale Boyd lost his balance, knocking down Glenville's Marcus Catney. Boyd attempted to pass the ball to avoid a walk. Chase Groves (with his back to camera) was there to intercept.
