| Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today in the Stump Funeral Home at Grantsville for Wirt County murder victim, 33-year-old Brent Butler.
Butler was stabbed to death last Wednesday in the woods near his Elizabeth home. Three Parkersburg men have been arrested for the murder.
He is the son of Billy Tim Butler and Sandra Arthur. He was a welder and former security guard.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, his wife, Deavin Butler; a daughter, Brooklyn Dawn Butler; sisters, Sabrina (Keith) Dooley of Burning Springs, Sharma Butler and her fiancé Harlan Lott of Rockport, and Jessie Butler of Elizabeth; and a brother, Jacob Butler of Elizabeth.
Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery at Minnora.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
