My daughter Heather, Ruby Ann and Lea visited us on Tuesday afternoon and stayed until Thursday morning. She had taken Lea for a check up and the doctor told her she was going to be a petite little girl. She's pretty and Ruby is fine with her sister. They would have stayed a little longer but Heather had to get home to put wood in the furnace.
Ruby went with Daddy and I to feed the pigs and chickens. She really likes the animals. She's my little buddy and we dance.
Ray goes with me every morning to feed. Monday morning was really cold but we had on long underwear and it helps a lot. Ray says that the pigs are long a slick. They are probably over a hundred pounds.
Buddy Watkins give us elk and buffalo jerky and it was really good. Buddy is a good cook and his home on White Oak is looking great. All new windows and everything is nice and clean. His little house use to be a one room school. Ray went to school there.
I planted some bulbs that Frank Metz had given me last fall and there starting to come up. Frank said they bloomed in March and had pretty white blooms. Thanks.
Line dancing lessons at Upper West Fork Community Center will start when Alicia Davisson gets back from her Florida vacation. Hope she has a great time there visiting with her sister and mother Dot.
