| Eleanor G. Welch, 89, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away February 5, 2008 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville.
Born in Marion County, she was a daughter of George and Alverta Wells Deulley.
Surviving are four sons, Howard and his wife Sandra, and James and his wife Bessie of Nobe, Larry of Tennessee, William and Pelma Wolfe of Ravenswood; five daughters, Thelma Winter and her husband Owen of Burning Springs, Patricia Metz and Jean McCray of Parkersburg, Loretta Scott of Five Forks, Betty Wilson and her husband Marvin of Grantsville; 44 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Arnold Yoak, and 1 sister Jean Godfrey.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Delmar Welch; an infant son; one grandson, three sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law; five sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Broomstick Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
