Boyd F. "Jim" Duskey, 66, of East Canton, Ohio, died Monday, February 4, 2008 in his home following an extended illness.
He was born January 20, 1942 in Calhoun County, West Virginia to the late Boyd H. and Virgie (Slider) Duskey. He was a Canton area resident since 1975 and a US Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Bonnie R. (Horpestad) Duskey; one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Stacy Duskey of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jason Cook of Canton; daughter, Deanna Duskey (address unknown); step daughter, Bonnie Wyatt (address unknown); three grandchildren, Cole, Carter and Chase; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Billie Jean Duskey of Elizabeth, WV; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Frank Whytsell of Arnoldsburg, WV, Beverly and Chuck Carpenter of Mt. Zion, WV; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Rev. Bob Cook will officiate. Interment will be in the Wright Cemetery at Cremo with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
