MAN USES KNIFE FOR SEX ASSAULTS - An East Bank resident told officers he attacked 15-20 prostitutes at knife-point. The admission came after Thomas H. Gravely was arrested for an attack on a prostitute.
Gravely tried to pick up a prostitute near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Hunt Avenue in Charleston about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. The
woman recognized Gravely as the man who sexually assaulted her last October.
Gravely, 30, was charged with first-degree sexual assault and is in South Central Regional Jail.
The woman allegedly assaulted by Gravely said she heard for months about him raping other women.
