Cpl. Doug Starcher investigated the incident, after Calhoun EMS was called to the scene following a report the woman was unresponsive.
Grantsville State Police issued a press release to MetroNews Monday, saying Teresa Lynn Knicely of Orma died last Thursday in a house near the Arnoldsburg Post Office.
Knicely's funeral was held in Spencer yesterday.
Police say foul play hasn't been ruled out although there were no physical signs of trauma.
Knicely lived with her boyfriend and State Police say the pair had a history of domestic problems, according to the release, also saying they found drug paraphernalia at the residence, which supported a belief that the couple might have had a history of drug use.
The state Medical Examiner's Office is involved in the case, where an autopsy and toxicology report was done late Thursday.
Child Protective Services took Knicely's daughter, according to MetroNews.
State Police did not issue a press release to the Hur Herald.
