| SUICIDE TURNS TO MURDER - Harrison County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call near Route 20 in Lost Creek Saturday evening to what was reported as a suicide.
A neighbor called 911 reporting she found a man dead in his home.
Thomas Nutter, 50, was found lying on the floor with a gun shot wound.
Chief Deputy Albert Marano says police became suspicious because of the contents found at the scene and started looking for further evidence.
Police have ruled out suicide.
The last people reportedly to be in contact with Nutter was a middle-aged couple allegedly from Cleveland.
The couple had stayed with Nutter for two days before he was found dead.
The Sheriff's Department is not releasing any motive in the case.
