| Authorities in Wirt County have identified a body found about 1 p.m. today on Munday Rd. as 91-year-old Emmet Ross of Cairo.
Ross drove away from his residence in Ritchie County last Tuesday, and had been reported as missing.
Police said the body was spotted along the road, covered by snow.
Wirt County Medical Examiner Gregg Busch says Ross's body was not with his vehicle.
Busch says they do not suspect foul play at this time, but are conducting a routine investigation.
The body was taken to Charleston for an autopsy.
