A two vehicle collision in Arnoldsburg in the front of the post office sent one person to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation yesterday.
The Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Calhoun EMS responded to the scene at 11 a.m.
Apparently the occupants of the other vehicle did not receive injuries.
The accident came after snow-covered highways caused local schools to be closed.
A truck went out-of-control on Rt. 5 near the Calhoun-Gilmer county line about 9 p.m. last night, crashing against a hillside.
One female was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS.
The Grantsville VFD also responded to the scene.
The temperature was hovering near 14 degrees. |
