Daniel P. Lamnek, 58, of Spencer, WV, died Monday, October 15, 2001 at home
He was born August 13, 1943, in Yugoslavia, a son of the late Peter and Christine Boosz
Lamnek. He was an employee of the former Kellwood Corporation of Spencer and was a
Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Lamnek, children, Danny of St. Cloud, FL; Douglas
of Catskill, NY and Dawn Lamnek at home; sister, Christine Kokemueller of Murfreesboro, TN;
three grandchildren, Kayla, Thomas and Virginia "Genny" Lamnek; nephews, Peter Kokemueller
of Murfreesboro and Scott Kokemueller of Wilton, CT.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in the John H. Taylor
Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Reverend David Glockner officiating. Visitation will be 30
minutes prior to the service.
The family requests memorial donations to the Kanawha Hospice or the American Cancer
Society
