A two-month-old baby died in a fiery three-car pileup on US 50 near Ellenboro Thursday night.
The infant has been identified as Matthew Hardbarger of Berea.
The child was traveling with his mother, 25-year-old Patricia Hardbarger, his 2-year-old brother, and 26-year-old Eziquiel Mejiapiaz of Parkersburg.
The Hardbarger vehicle crashed with a car driven by 60-year-old Karen Nicholson of Parkersburg.
State Police say a car driven by 22-year-old Tara Elias of Letart then crashed into the pileup.
The Elias car and the Hardbargers' car then burst into flames.
An added injury, before hitting the Hardbargers' vehicle, the Elias' car struck Tony Courtney, a good Samaritan who had stopped to help.
Courtney is in the intensive care unit at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
Patricia Hardbarger was in fair condition at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Lucas was treated and released.
The conditions of Elias and Mejiapiaz were not available.
