Calhoun's boys basketball team went on a three-game road holiday trip, losing all three games.
First the Red Devils lost to Parkersburg Catholic 49-32 in a regular season game played before Christmas.
Then the Red Devils competed in the Notre Dame Holiday Classic and dropped two games -- 87-60 to Notre Dame in the first round and 77-49 to Webster County in the consolation game.
In Thursday's consolation game the Red Devils led for a way before foul trouble sidelined its two biggest guns allowing Webster County to regain the lead and slowly pull away in the second half.
Calhoun, now 0-6, was led by Andrew Norman with 22 points before fouling out early in the fourth quarter. He was backed by Josh DeWeese with 13 points and 12 rebounds before he too fouled out.
The Red Devils had one other player -- Justin Gerwig -- hit double figures with 11. Josh Cain had three to round out the scoring.
Cai Clothier, Chuck Kendall, Daniel Sims, Greg Myers, Anthony Richards and Harold McCumbers all played but did not score.
For Webster, now 1-4, James Riffle was the only double-figure scorer with a game high 28 points, including four three-point shots.
In Wednesday's first round game the Red Devils ran up their highest point total of the year and enjoyed a two-to-one edge on the board (46-23) only to have it all unravel thanks to a 37 turnovers.
DeWeese led the Red Devils with 19 while adding 14 rebounds. Gerwig added 19 points and nine boards while Norman had seven, Cain five, McCumbers four, Kendall three, Sims two and Richards one. Clothier did not score but had eight rebounds and Myers and Tyler Bennett played but did not score.
Notre Dame, 3-2, was led by Vincent Nash with 18 while Justin Yancey had 14 off the bench.
