Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Glenville held an Open House and 25th Anniversary Celebration on December 4th.
The public was invited to attend the open house and tour the newly constructed dining and therapy areas.
Recent renovations have allowed the center to expand the space available in its therapy gym for physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
The evening's program was held in the new dining-activity area and contained a poem reading, a review of the facility's history, special singing, employee service awards, slide show, and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Former residents, family members, and staff were invited to join in celebrating the milestone. Among the guests attending, were former owner Charles Kittle and his family, and some of the original staff members including Mary Jo Frame and Debbie Hitt.
The center took the opportunity to recognize six employees that have 20 years or more service to the facility. Those employees were Tammy Foster, Karen Bush, Mary Deuley, Debbie Moyers-Goff, Jan Smith, and Claudette Chadwell.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was followed by a reception with refreshments.
The center would like to thank everyone who attended and volunteered assistance to make this event a success.
Special thanks to Tammy Hough, Amy Osborne, Jack Lowther, Bob Carpenter, Joanne McHenry, Jessie Marks, and Jane Law for providing entertainment for the evening.
Thanks also goes to the Camden Flats Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church of Glenville for the use of their tables and chairs.
