Calhoun's 4-H Ski Trip to Canaan Valley will be Monday, January 21. The event is a fundraiser which supports 4-H programs.
Regular rate for full ski package is $92.
The 4-H package cost for the event will be:
Lift ticket only: $26; Lift ticket and ski rental: $35; Lift ticket, ski rental, and lesson: $40; All rates include a $5 donation to the Calhoun County 4-H Leaders' Association. If you are interested in snow tubing or snow boarding please call 354-6332 for more information.
Payment for the ski trip is due January 11th by 4 p.m. at the WVU Extension Office in Grantsville.
To register, send or deliver a check payable to the Calhoun County 4-H Leaders' Association to the WVU Extension Office in the Calhoun County Courthouse at P.O. Box 680 Grantsville, WV 26147.
Please include the number of lift tickets, ski rentals, and lessons being purchased. Also, please list the names of each person purchasing a ticket as well as a contact number. We will then give or mail your rental forms and schedule your ski lesson.
There must be 20 people registered to obtain a group rate.
If 20 people do not register, your money will be refunded. No refunds will be made after January 11th.
Everyone must provide their own transportation.
All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Kenny Whytsell will be at the resort by 8:30 a.m. to pass out lift tickets.
Ski time is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please do not attempt to go through the rental line until you have your lift tickets.
Everyone must have his or her own insurance.
4-H and WVU Extension Services assumes no responsibility for injuries.
